Winners! We have some Bloglovin' Giveaway winners!
But I hoped that everyone else would be happy with this as a small consolation prize. I threw together some more song lyrics from Tunes Tuesday.
For those that missed it, the idea behind Tunes Tuesday (shared with me by my intern from last year) is to print off a set of song lyrics and have your kids practice boring (but needed!) grammar skills by highlighting examples in the lyrics. We've even had them use multiple colors to differentiate between past and present tense, etc. A more simple example would be to give the kids the lyrics to "Wide Awake" by Katy Perry and have the kids highlight all of the verbs while you play the video for them. (skip the first 10 seconds of that video btw!) My kids LOVED doing it and looked forward to it weekly. The literally begged us to do it, even to the point of it we missed school on a Tuesday they wanted to do "Tunes Thursday." It only takes a few minutes too!

And finally...you could be delivered goodness like THIS straight to your phone if you followed me on instagram:
This ridiculously creepy painting was hanging on the bedroom wall of the beach cabin Killer B and I rented while staying on Tybee Island this past week. Why?! See what you're missing by not following me?! ;)
I'll be back with a link up tomorrow for Jivey's Workshop Wednesday and a couple more freebies!
That picture made me laugh so hard! I would have had to take it down or cover it up. Wonder why anyone thought that picture was a good idea????

I love this idea! Fabulous. Thanks so much for sharing. If we have to teach grammar, why not do it in a fun way? :) Great post.
