Bloglovin' added! Plus a couple giveaways!

For those who don't know, Google Reader is nearly a thing of the past. I'm jumping on board with Bloglovin as a way to keep up with the tons of blogs I read.

It's easy to set up and import your blogs if you haven't already! A MUCH better explanation is already given over at I Teach, What's Your Superpower, so head over there to see what it's all about.

It's kind of annoying/worrisome to think that Google Friend Connect will also go away and then we won't have access to our followers anymore. One thing Bloglovin' doesn't have is the ability to see who is following you. I like to see who my new followers are in case they have a blog I'd like to follow! And what will happen with all the fun milestone follower giveaways?!

In other news...

It's official. I'm a big teaching dork. I ordered my copies of 32 Third Graders and Teach Like a Pirate and had them delivered to the address where I'm vacationing. They arrived today! I'm looking forward to digging in to them. I've been purposefully avoiding some of the bloggers' posts about the book so far, but it will be fun to go back and read them as I catch up to their book study.

Well, back to vacationing! Though Killer B has never heard of just sitting down to relax, so I may be more tired at the end of this vacation than before we left!
