Wonder, Elvis and the Underdogs, Kizzy Ann Stamps, and Someone Named Eva. I know I'm forgetting two more, but for the life of me I can't remember right now. Alison Rockin' and Lovin' Learnin'
Ivan and Wonder of course! Also Island of the Blue Dolphins, George Washington's Socks... I know there are more but my brain is dead! :-P jivey ideas by jivey
I have not read any of them yet.....I am moving grade levels. I was teaching 2nd and moving to 4th. I am glad that you posted some read aloud books for your class. I was needing some ideas of what to start out with next year. It's a little scary to be moving 2 grade levels but I'm up for the challenge. Thanks for the picture. Tammy
We read Ivan, several of Clements's books, and we are currently into the third book of the Shadow Children series.

ReplyDeleteDid you read all these books to your students as read-alouds or were these guided reading books?
